The Lodge at Riverstone Opening in September
August 27, 2017
Madera, CA - The new 2,000-acre Riverstone is a master-planned community where Valley homebuyers can “Look Forward to Life”. Everyone is invited to enjoy an exciting first glimpse of it during the debut of The Lodge—Riverstone’s first community clubhouse. The Lodge Grand Opening celebration, which promises to be fun for the entire family, is scheduled for September 16th and 17th from 12 to 4 pm on both days.
During the two-day Grand Opening celebration, the general public is invited to enjoy free food and refreshments, music, and the chance to win great prizes. Visitors will also be able to take a tour of The Lodge and get an inside look at its many family-oriented amenities—including a resort-style pool, advanced fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn outfitter’s cabin, and much more. The Lodge will also be open for viewing nearly every day of the week, starting in early September. To schedule a tour, please call 559-785-1200. To reach Riverstone from Fresno, go north on Highway 41, turn left at Avenue 12 and follow the signs.
Situated in the heart of Riverstone’s inaugural neighborhood—called the Lodge District—The Lodge is a creatively designed, resort-style community clubhouse with a distinctive contemporary-meets-agrarian architectural style.
“We’re thrilled that our first homeowners will soon be able to enjoy this truly first-class amenity,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “It’s the centerpiece of our quickly growing Lodge District of new homes, parks, trails and an upcoming elementary school. As more and more families continue to move in, I’m sure The Lodge will become a favorite place to stay fit, go swimming, or just relax and socialize with neighbors and friends.”
The Lodge at Riverstone will feature open, exposed beams, grand windows for inspired views, and authentic building materials that are permanent and lasting. Within the expansive interior spaces, residents are free to enjoy an array of exceptional amenities including a Great Room and flexible gathering places with WiFi, and a state-of-the-art Fitness Center with advanced exercise equipment. Just outside, The Lodge will feature a resort-style pool and spa with poolside cabanas, a children’s pool, an outdoor bar with firepit conversation areas, a demonstration kitchen, a community garden and a Gear Barn outfitter’s cabin featuring a variety of gear that will be available for homeowners’ on- and off-site adventures. In addition, a Concierge will be stationed in The Lodge to plan community-wide events and smaller gatherings.
“The Lodge expresses a vernacular we call ‘deconstructed agrarian industrialism’,” said architect Todd Larner of William Hezmalhalch Architects, Riverstone’s land-planning and architectural firm. “Although it’s brand-new, it will feel as though it’s been here forever—much like a timeless, historic mountain lodge that’s been converted exclusively for the enjoyment of Riverstone residents.”
The new family-friendly amenity will join the other completed amenities of the Lodge District, which include two community parks and a number of hiking and biking trails. Collections of stylish, innovative new homes from McCaffrey Homes and Lennar Homes are now selling. The Lodge District’s first home-buying families started moving into their new homes in late June.
Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes, as well as commercial and mixed-use space including office, service and retail. Amenities at Riverstone are anticipated to include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, multiple community clubhouses, hiking and biking trails, a dog park, a community farm, historic olive and citrus groves, a sustainable water supply, and on-site schools belonging to the award-winning Golden Valley Unified School District.
