New Homes and Roads Continue to Take Shape at Riverstone Community

Madera, CA - Exciting progress is being made nearly every day at the 2,000-acre Riverstone, the highly anticipated master-planned community coming to southeast Madera County. Construction continues within the community’s family-oriented Lodge District, which will feature Riverstone’s inaugural collection of new homes from local homebuilder McCaffrey Homes.

An award-winning homebuilder with deep roots in the local community, McCaffrey’s two new collections of homes have been designed specifically for Riverstone. Exemplifying the California spirit with indoor-outdoor living, the new-home collection of Santerra offers up to five bedrooms, and rooms awaiting your next big idea. Ivy at Riverstone, offering up to six bedrooms, will feature spacious homes on large lots that reflect an upscale Ivy League feel with American Traditional classic architecture.

In addition to the new Riverstone homes from McCaffrey, construction is expected to begin in the very near term on a second residential offering—a collection of new homes from Lennar Homes, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders.

Lennar’s offering at Riverstone will feature the homebuilder’s popular Cambridge Collection of Everything’s Included^® homes, delivering custom quality features as standard. The timelessly designed one- and two-story homes are anticipated to offer a choice of floor plans ranging in size from 1,877 square feet to 3,185 square feet, with up to five bedrooms, three and one-half bathrooms and three-car garages. In tandem with Riverstone’s new-home construction, road enhancement projects are also in full swing. In order to reduce traffic congestion in the area and improve access into the community, two lane-widening projects are currently underway near Riverstone, which will add lanes to both Highway 41 and Avenue 12. In addition, Business 41 has been widened and re-opened, and construction will soon begin at the intersection of Highway 41 and Avenue 12 to add a new left-turn lane to alleviate northbound traffic.

The newly paved main roads running through Riverstone have been completed, right down to the stylish, ornamental LED lampposts that adorn the medians. Riverstone’s signature entry tower—a farm-apparatus-like tower already standing at the community’s main entrance at Business 41 and Avenue 12—is a one-of-a-kind tribute to the farming heritage of both the community and the Valley.
