The Holidays are Happening at Riverstone

To know Riverstone is to know it is a community that offers an ongoing lineup of fun and engaging events and celebrations, especially during the Holiday season. With exciting get-togethers planned for the entire month of December, Riverstone’s homeowner families—now at 1,800 strong—have been enjoying the magic and warmth of this special time of the year.

Last month at Riverstone’s masquerade-themed Casino Night, the adult-only fun included delicious hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, exciting prize giveaways and spirited casino games such as blackjack, craps and roulette.

Riverstone’s Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony featured food trucks, raffle prize giveaways, lively entertainment and two special guests spreading Holiday cheer and festive photos with Santa.

The season kicked off with Riverstone’s first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting on December 1^st, a festive evening that easily got everyone in the spirit. Residents in attendance enjoyed complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, and savored local fare for purchase from a roundup of popular food trucks. There were also valuable raffle prize giveaways and lively entertainment throughout the night.

The festive fun continued with Breakfast with Santa & Friends, a classic Holiday event with Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Lodge that featured all sorts of fun for Riverstone’s littlest residents—including entertainment from Holiday-themed characters, train rides, and pictures with Santa.

A popular community-wide event, Riverstone’s 4^th Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade was held this past Saturday. As usual, the celebration was brimming with Holiday cheer as families came together to raise funds and toys for nearby Valley Children’s Hospital.

Other recent Holiday events at Riverstone included Ornament Decorating, a Wreath-Making workshop, and Sparkling Education—a fascinating program of tastings led by a wine educator that guided residents through the different processes and key differences between various types of sparkling wines.

“For us, a genuine sense of belonging is one of the most important aspects of home,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “We’ve seen and felt so much of it this month…it’s been truly heartwarming. It’s wonderful to see so many of our residents joining together to celebrate the company of one another and the joys of the Holiday season.”

Offering today’s homebuying families a sociable community with a lifetime’s worth of events and fun get-togethers is one reason behind Riverstone’s sixth consecutive nomination to receive the CVLUX Community of the Year Award.
