Holiday Happenings at Riverstone

In addition to its wide variety of new homes, inviting neighborhood parks and creatively imagined amenities for all members of the family, Riverstone is also known for its ongoing lineup of fun and lively events and celebrations. Families have been coming out to enjoy a robust calendar of activities and get-togethers all month long, making the Holidays a heartfelt season to remember.

Many of Riverstone’s activities, events and social get-togethers take place at The Lodge community clubhouse, a unique indoor-outdoor venue comfortable enough to call your second living room.

The Demonstration Kitchen at The Lodge hosts many programs and workshops. The Lodge also features swimming pools, an advanced Fitness Center, an outdoor bar with firepits, the Gear Barn and much more.

Residents kicked off the Holiday season early during the Get Crafty With Me event, a special Christmas-themed arts-and-crafts workshop that gave everyone the opportunity to sand, stain, paint, and customize a festive Holiday sign to hang in their own homes.

The Makers Market was a lively event that showcased the many small businesses in the surrounding area as well as the creative entrepreneurs living at Riverstone. The market gave residents the chance to mingle with business owners and get a head start on their Christmas shopping. Other recent events at Riverstone included a Ravioli-Making Workshop, a Casino Night and a Farmers Market at The Lodge with local vendors providing a rich bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and local artisans sharing a wide assortment of crafts that made perfect Holiday gifts.

“We’ve always said living at Riverstone is like belonging to one big, happy family, and it’s especially true this time of the year,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “It has been wonderful to see so many residents of all ages come out and take part in all the seasonal events and activities we’ve been enjoying this entire month. I’d like to thank our staff members and HOA team for doing such a terrific job in spreading a great deal of fun and festive Holiday cheer.”

The Lodge at Riverstone—the community’s first resort-style clubhouse located in the Lodge District residential neighborhood—is the social epicenter for all kinds of get-togethers. In addition to seasonal, community-wide events, the helpful Events Coordinator at The Lodge is available to help residents plan their very own family celebrations—whether it’s a birthday, anniversary or some other milestone.

Offering an ongoing lineup of community-wide events and activities is one reason behind Riverstone’s fifth consecutive nomination to receive the CVLUX Community of the Year Award. Riverstone won the award in 2019, 2020 and 2021, which is a prestigious accolade determined by the voting public that honors only the best of the best in the Central Valley. This year, Riverstone has been nominated in two categories: Best Community and Best Shopping Center for its next-door Riverwalk.

Those who wish to vote for Riverstone and Riverwalk may cast their ballots online by visiting www.cvlux.com/voting. Voting is open until Tuesday, January 31st, 2023. Winners will be announced at the Luxury Awards celebration in March 2023.
